With a full charge on the flashlite the on/off switch took multiple presses to turn on and off the light.It appeared that this light had been opened before I received it from the seller.I have another of MagLight ML150. I highly recommend this light.

Great, probably overpriced, flashlight. Seems as well made as the ancient Maglite I have, and it was working great. 14mo later, the battery is dead. In looking into its replacement, I see it's rated as 6.4VDC, so I'm assuming it's 2x LiFePO cells and maybe one has died.Then I look at the charger, labeled as 12VDC, which I verify at the charging rings on the flashlight, so it's not like something inside the cradle is stepping this down. To correctly charge two of these cells, its should be more like 8V. So it's no wonder the batteries aren't lasting, they're getting (intentionally?) cooked by the charger.

The light is incredibly bright. This isn't a toy. The beam really lights up the dark. It is surprisingly not that heavy to be so bright. There is not enough durability in the lens. The cradle is wonderful. I am pleased with the short charging time.

Update vom 20.09.2023: Ich habe vom MagLite Service eine Antwort und Reparatur erhalten. Der Akku war wegen einer Tiefenentladung defekt. Die LED-Lampe zieht immer ein wenig Strom. Wird sie nicht regelmäßig genutzt/geladen kann sich der Akku tiefenentladen. Also immer in die Landschale legen oder den Kontakt bei Nichtbenutzung hinten abschrauben. Jetzt gibt’s auch volle Sterne bei der Bewertung.Hallo zusammen,aufgrund meiner mittlerweile eingetretenen Enttäuschung über die Mag-Lite habe ich mich entschlossen, eine Rezension zu verfassen. Ich habe die Taschenlampe 2019 gekauft und gelegentlich genutzt. Bis vor kurzem war ich sehr zufrieden mit dieser, auch wenn die Entladung des Akkus bei Nichtbenutzung aus meiner Sicht sehr schnell ging. Die Lampe ist hell und hat meine Anforderungen erfüllt.Seit einigen Tagen ist die Tachenlampe leider nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Man kann den Akku zwar laden, die Taschenlampe schaltet bei Benutzung jedoch gleich in den dunkleren Modus und kurz dananch aus. Anscheinend ist der Akku defekt. Das Problem wird hier auch in einigen anderen Rezensionen beschrieben und ein fehlendes Batteriemanagement als Grund genannt.Ich werde Mag-Lite mal anschreiben und auf Kulanz hoffen. Schade, habe hier eine bessere Qualität erwartet.

Super qualité, recharge rapide, flux lumineux très long, son seul défaut c'est de se rayer facilement on voudrait qu'elle reste comme neuve, elle est magnifique.Par contre attention avec le bouton ON/OFF il semble un peu capricieux sur ce modèle.(Après vérification, penser à bien visser la partie arrière.)

For many years us older Maglite users have craved a torch which will give us a high light output LED and Lithium battery efficiency but coupled with Maglite build quality and practicality.Well crave no more..This Maglite ML150LR is a superficially similar to the 38 yr old Maglite MagCharger. Smaller and lighter overall it retains the charging cradle and two ring stroke of genius contact system concept allowing for quick insertion or removal into its charging cradle, the Type III anodising and the very high build quality and paint work of the original.But of course there's also been a host of improvements such as a high output LED giving up to 1082 Lumens of light output ,a quck focus system to adjust the beam from spot to flood a high efficiency Lithium Iron Phosphate battery and a massively improved charge and run time. It also has a much more reliable solid state switch and the ability to program it without the need for a computer. Unlike virtually all its competitors this Maglite ML150LR allows the beam to be focused from a flood to a high intensity spot. It is supplied with the charging cradle, mains adapter, battery and a in car adapter.In use it produces a powerful ,brilliant white beam with no sickly green colour cast seen elsewhere. Despite the power, it is pocketable via a large 'Hoodie' type pocket and is substantially built enabling shall we say 'other uses'. It also reintroduces the Maglite 'doughnut' beam at the extreme flood end of the head setting but this can be dialled out without too much of a problem.Is it perfect?Not quite.This torch despite all the new tech heat sink etc runs hot. And I mean HOT after a few mins of full power use. This goes for all LED torches but this is probably the hottest running torch I've come across.It would be nice if Maglite were to provide a glass rather than a plastic front lens and a metal rather than a plastic reflector. But these are minor points.Overall this is easily my favourite torch out of the dozen or so that I own and would strongly recommend as a once in a very long time purchase.It has brought Maglite right into the 21st Century.
