Easy to Make Non-GMO Mediterranean Hummus Recipe Kit - Makes over 7 lbs of HUMMUS (not all at once)!

Love that it non gmo. But spices are very bland.

I bought the 5 pound sack of garbanzos from Palouse a few weeks ago, through Amazon, for 14.95, *very* happy with the quality. Then I bought this hummus kit which is only 2 pounds of garbanzos, but then it includes sesame seeds and Mediterranean spice mix, for 19.95. Gets good reviews. So I was expecting great things I guess, from the spice mix and stuff. Well, my kit arrived without the recipe. So I had to contact Palouse, and they quickly provided it to me, but that's an inconvenience. So I made a batch of hummus today, and I'm looking at the little baggie of spice mix it came with, and I'm thinking it's not nearly enough to last through the many batches I'm going to make with this 2lbs of beans. Each batch you make only takes 3/4 cup of the dried beans, and 3 tsp. of spice mix. (according to the recipe I received) Well, the batch I made was bland at that amount of spice mix, for my taste, so yeah it's totally not going to be enough spice mix. So what did I spend all that extra money for. I don't know. I wish I hadn't. Would not repurchase.

Love this! I added the juice of one lemon. I don't like things overloaded in spice. It was perfect. For those who love very spicy food, you can add any spice you want! I will be ordering this on a regular basis! Delicious and so good for you!!!
