dreamGEAR Broadcaster Wired Headset for the PS4 with Flexible Boom Microphone and Inline Volume/Mute Control

This is a nice headset.it has a volume control and mute button. I saw a post saying that it doesn't go loud. You have to go into the ps4 audio settings and adjust it there. I turned mine all the up on the ps4 settings so I can control it from the volume control on the headset .

It doesn't get very loud for the ps4 even with the volume all the way up, but it's 20 bucks so I wasn't expecting what my 85 dollar headset does. I've actually used it more on teamspeak and the mic is actually pretty decent for the price. It basically has mute on/off switch and a volume toggle, can be worn either way as the mic rotates and the cord is 4 feet long. Think this is a good investment for someone who wants a basic headset until sony comes up with an official one for ps4.*EDIT* Changed my review to 1 star after having this for a few months, the microphone suddenly stopped working so it's junk now.

Works perfectly! It's so hard to find a good monaural headset for the PS4, but this one is great!! Good sound, easy to mute, and others tell me the mic sounds good too. Very comfortable.

This is a solidly built piece of equipment but the sound quality makes it really hard to recommend. Even on maximum volume, voices sound distant and muddled.The PS4 desperately needs a decent mono headset to replace the awful one packaged in the box. Unfortunately, this is not the one. Twenty dollars wasted. It gets three stars only because it's well built.

Speakers not as loud as I would wish (tried three microphones and they're all pretty low in max volume )but the best and cheapest headset that works with my PlayStation 4. Plus no battery so one less thing to charge.Edit: seems it's not the microphone's fault that the audio coming in is incredibly low. Tried this microphone out on my iPhone and it's audio came in quite loud. Now if only Sony would acknowledge this and make chat volume on their system loud!!!

I've bought 3 of these and couldn't get one of them to last.My setup is a home theater room with audiophile speakers so I wanted to play my games and talk to people while being able to hear my speakers unlike other options. Everyone one of these I bought eventually had a break in the connection where the wire goes into the headphone and twice there wasn't even a tear in the rubber but playing with the cable in that spot would give intermittently sound. I knew where the break was inside the cable and on one pair so I tried to repair it. I cut open the cable to fix the issue but the way it threaded and shielded in the manufacturing processes made in impossible to fix. (Don't attempt that unless you know what your doing) and again it still didn't fix the issue.ProsCheap and good while it works.ConsDoesn't work long!I can't recommend this as a buy

I bought this as a replacement for the headset the PS4 came with and it works just as well. Of course it is nothing compared to serious gaming headphones, but it does its job.

Haven't had any problems yet, it has worked just as it is supposed to and hasn't given me even the slightest bit of grief. If it breaks, you will see an add on review.
