My 38-year-old set like this is still working great!
I have had a Fuller set like this, except with a green pan and a yellow brush, for 38 years. It is still working just great! I can get even very fine dust and debris cleaned up quickly with this duspan and brush, and the brush stores right in the pan. I don't know of any other dustpan and brush as functional as these. The last time I used them to sweep up my son's very fine hair after a haircut at home, I thought to myself, "What would I do without these? I should get a backup set!" When I saw that Amazon had the set with a brass-plated pan and a hardwood-handle brush, I thought it would be great to use on the kitchen counters and table. Of all the housekeeping tools I have ever had, the Fuller distpan and brush set is one of my most-used and most-appreciated. I used to give the set as a wedding gift; I think I'm going to start doing that again.

This is a very pretty brush and dustpan and is functional but I am disappointed in the design. I grew up using an old Fuller Brush dust pan/ brush. it would be at least 50 years old If my Mom still had it . The dust pan of the old version was exactly like the current brass one, except for the color. The old brush, however, had different design. It had a plastic handle and the brush was attached to a tubular metal frame that locked into the dust pan so the brush and pan stayed together. When I saw the picture of the current dust pan/brush I assumed that the brush would hook to the pan. It does not. I like to hang my cleaning tools, The description on the box says "...When your cleaning job is done, storage is easy with convenient hang-up holes on the end of the dustpan and brush handle." My brush has a hole but dust pan does not.

and the whole thing stored easily. When I bought this one
My only unhappiness with this brush is that it doesn't fit into the dustpan. With my old Fuller set, the brush hooked into the inside edge of the pan, and the whole thing stored easily. When I bought this one, I expected it would do the same.

Not what I was looking for...
I was hoping to find the Fuller dustpan and brush design I had where the top rim of the brush could be snapped into the underside rim of the pan, keeping the two pieces conveniently connected. Not so with this model. Perhaps this "original" was made in the first half of the 20th century, but with its large wooden-handled brush, it is nothing like the model I had in the 1960's.

Work of Art
I have been deserving of such tools as these for a very long time. I just had no idea they were out there! It almost makes me feel wealthy. The description doesn't say, but the bristles nest under the beveled edge perfectly when stored on a shelf or in a cabinet. The wooden handle is easy to hold and the ring on the dustpan allows for easy handling. The slim edge of the dustpan collects the dust, crumbs, debris quite well even where grout tries to interfere, and the bristles are sturdy. I feel quite regal attending to this mundane task, lol.

Not the Original Fuller Brush and Dustpan
The name is deceptive. Perhaps the brush is the same as the original version, but the dustpan is not. In the original version that my parents got 50 years ago, the brush securely hooked into the pan. This does not. That's disappointing because I got it as a replacement set for my parents. It works just fine, all bright, shiny, and new, but this is not the original Fuller Brush and Dustpan.

Fuller Brush is still around!
This dustpan is just like our 30 year old one (that is now relegated to the shop) though much shinier and prettier. The brush, however, is a little too soft and fluffy; different from the original version. All in all a handy little tool and a reasonable price.

One Star
Not what I expected--plastic bristles that get filthy very easily.
